Evermend was not created as a product first business. It was built from years of hands on experience working directly with timber.
With over 30 years in carpentry and timber window restoration across the UK and Australia, we have spent decades repairing, restoring and maintaining timber in real world conditions. Throughout that time, epoxy repair systems have been an essential part of the work.
From the UK to Australia
Matt's trade was learnt in the UK, where high quality epoxy repair systems have been a standard part of timber restoration, particularly in heritage and sash window work.
However, after moving to Australia, we found that access to reliable, professional grade epoxy systems was limited.

Discovering What Works
This led us to begin testing a wide range of products, looking for a system that would meet the demands of real trade use.
After trialling a number of different brands, we came across a system that immediately stood out in terms of performance, workability and reliability.
Why Evermend
Evermend was developed to bring that level of performance to the Australian market.
The focus has always been simple: to provide a system that performs reliably in real world conditions.
We only supply products that we trust and use in our own work, ensuring consistency and long lasting results.
"We only supply products we trust and use on our own jobs"
Repairing Instead of Replacing
A key part of our approach is the focus on repair rather than replacement.
In many cases, damaged timber can be restored effectively using epoxy systems, avoiding the need for full replacement, saving thousands of dollars and our environment.
By repairing rather than replacing, we:
Reduce timber waste
Minimise the need for new materials
Preserve original structures
Reduce overall environmental impact
Built on Experience
Today, Evermend products are used by builders, heritage restoration companies and trade professionals across Australia.
Final Thoughts
Evermend is built on experience, not theory.
It exists to provide a reliable, professional solution for timber repair, one that delivers long lasting results and supports a more practical approach to restoration
